The run-off election for the remaining Associated Students of the University of Portland (ASUP) senior class senator seat failed to reach the minimum voting percentage required for a valid election, leaving the seat vacant.

The April 8 and 9 election required the vote of at least 10% of the rising senior class to be considered valid, but failed to reach that threshold at just 8.11%.

Mason Dinsmore and Vivian Martin were the candidates on the ballet.

According to ASUP Vice President Stephanie Vasquez, elections to fill both the remaining senior class seat and an empty junior class seat will be postponed until the fall 2025 semester. The decision to postpone was made by Vasquez. At that time, the elections will be open to any eligible candidates.
