A sexual assault was reported to Public Safety on March 18 at 1:41 a.m. The alleged assault took place on the 6800 block of North Monteith St.
Public Safety informed Portland Police of the report, but because the information came from a third party, it was not able to be verified and the identity of the possible victim has not been confirmed. As of April 7, no victim has come forward to Portland Police to make a report, according to Public Informations Officer Pete Simpson. The case has been suspended by Portland Police until a victim comes forward.
According to Public Safety, the case is still under investigation.
