A member of the university community’s car was stolen from its parking spot on campus on Friday, Feb. 24.
The car was stolen from the parking area next to the Beauchamp Center, on the 5400 block of N Strong St. The theft was reported at 5:46 p.m.
According to Gerald Gregg, director of Public Safety, this is the first car to be stolen from on-campus parking this year, and has been a rare occurrence in past years. The case has been referred to the Portland Police Department for further investigation.
