Read UP has made its selection for the 2016-17 event: All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr.

The novel about the overlapping paths of a blind French girl and a brilliant German orphan is a Pulitzer Prize winner, New York Times bestseller and Goodreads Choice 2014 winner.

Read UP is an effort coordinated by the Clark Library, Garaventa Center, provost's office, residence life, student affairs and university relations that provides free books and coordinates discussions for UP students and staff. Anthony Doerr will speak on campus in February 2017 as part of the Shoenfeldt Distinguished Writers Series.
