As the new year rolls around, so does the FAFSA and the hefty cost of college is on the minds of many on The Bluff and across the nation. The growing cost of higher education has also been a hot topic on the presidential campaign trail, with solutions ranging from Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders' plan to make all public colleges and universities free to financing higher ed with investors through Republican Marco Rubio's "Student Investment Plans."
To better understand where UP's tuition prices fall amongst its peer institutions, The Beacon has compared it to those of other small, four year, private universities in Oregon.
