Columnist, author and TV commentator David Brooks, will be speaking at UP on March 16. Brooks is known for his work as a columnist for The New York Times, as an analyst on "PBS Newshour "and National Public Radio’s "All Things Considered," as a frequent contributor on "Meet the Press" and as author of his most recent book, "The Road to Character."
"The Road to Character" asks the question: "Am I living for my resume or my eulogy?" The book looks at living a life of meaning and depth, and how this can lead to success. Brooks also did a TED Talk on this topic, describing the premise of his book.
The talk will be sponsored the Dundon-Berchtold Institute for Moral Formation and Applied Ethics. Tickets are available to the public and to UP faculty, staff and students at discounted rates.
