Hair may not seem like a big deal until you think about not having it. For many people, their hair is part of their identity. The loss of hair through chemotherapy is only one of the trials that cancer patients go through. Members of the UP community shaved their heads to raise money for St. Baldrick’s, a foundation that raises money to fund childhood cancer research. The foundation is partnered with UP, and this year our community raised $17, 941.
