This will be President Fr. Bill Beauchamp's final year as president of UP, according to an email he sent to the University of Portland community this afternoon. Beauchamp first announced the news at the Board of Regents meeting today.
"My experience here at UP has been nothing short of extraordinary and I will always cherish my time here on the Bluff," Beauchamp said in the email.
Beauchamp has been at UP for 11 years and president for 10. This fiscal year will also mark the end of the RISE Campaign, the biggest campaign in UP's history.
The email did not state who the next president will be.
