The semester just started, and it may seem like next fall is far away, but it's already time to start thinking about housing for next year. Here are some changes to be aware of:

A $100 deposit is required for all students applying for housing next year.

Students can apply without paying the deposit right away, but students will not be put on any housing list until the deposit is paid.

After the application is completed, the deposit will be applied to the room cost.

The deposit will not be refunded if a student does not sign a housing contract or cancels their contract.

Students will not be penalized if there is no housing available, and would get their deposit back if such a situation arose.

Deposits can be paid online or through the Office of Student Accounts located in Waldshmidt Hall.

All housing applications must be submitted online.

Applications and deposits must be submitted by Feb. 15 for Haggerty/Tyson and rentals, or Feb. 24 for all traditional residence halls.

One wing in Shipstad Hall will be converted to all male rooms.
