There are three native Oregon White Oaks on campus, two behind the tennis center (LPTC) and one just off the Main Parking Lot near the north corner of the Library that have been declining in health over the years due to substantial changes to their surrounding environment from construction work.

Unfortunately these trees have declined to the point they can fall over, so are now considered hazardous and must be removed. We plan on replanting, in more suitable locations, with several of the same type of tree. There are also many more

of these trees throughout campus and surrounding areas.

The Heritage Tree in the Pilot House Plaza is one such tree, and is doing well.
