Calling all seniors
In the fall of 2008 Katy Perry kissed a girl and liked it, President Obama was a big deal and we were excited to be freshmen at the University of Portland.
Between now and then we have met lifelong friends, survived Biblical Tradrations and made memories that we will cherish forever. These last three years as Pilots have been nothing short of memorable.
The ASUP Senate needs you, seniors, to help keep this campus the place of growth and opportunity that it has been for us since we arrived on The Bluff.
Unfortunately, we had no seniors apply to be senators for this 2011-2012 academic year. All of us are busy with clubs, off-campus jobs and social lives, but currently there is no one who can represent the needs for the class of 2012. So, if you feel inspired, walk into the ASUP office in St. Mary's Student Center because we need you.
Elections will be held Sept. 20 -21 on the PilotsUP portal.
We only have 235 days left until we graduate. Let's make them count.
